This means that renewables are increasingly displacing “dirty” fossil fuels in the power sector, offering the benefit of lower emissions of carbon and other types of pollution.
CURRENT ENGAGEMENTS
STAKEHOLDERS IN DISCUSSIONS WITH CARBCRED AFRICA has began its approach with key stakeholders involved in the sequestration of the current global carbon emissions.
CARBCRED AFRICA has engaged the below parties in line with obtaining pilot plots in specific locations. Completion of the pilot projects will comfort governmental offices towards granting further permissions and mandates in achieving carbon point quantification and trading in their behalf.
FORESTRY COMMISSION
Forestry Commission (FC) is a parastatal under the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry. FC is responsible for regulation, management and conservation of forest resources and managing gazetted indigenous forests which cover about 0.8% of the total surface area of the country.
HARARE WETLANDS TRUST
Harare Wetlands Trust is an umbrella trust incorporating Civil Society Organizations, Community Based Organizations and concerned individuals promoting the conservation of Harare's Wetland Ecosystems to ensure sustainable provisioning of water for the Greater Harare.
ZIMBABWE PARKS AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZPWMA) is a successor to the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Management. ZPWMA falls under the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Tourism and Hospitality Industry. The Authority manages one of the largest estates in the country, about 5 million hectares of land or 13% of Zimbabwe's total land area.
GOVERNMENT PARTNERSHIPS
We aim at providing frame work and policy solutions in conjunctions with Government institutions on sustainable and economical beneficial programs by encouraging and implementing a carbon taxation initiative thus involving major local corporations in the fight towards the sequestration of carbon emissions generated in their respective industries.

CARBCRED AFRICA strives towards creating CFI (Carbon Finance Initiative) programs via carbon credit markets to benefit low income communities based in Africa.
